4th XI Captain's Report 2010 - Paul McCracken
I thoroughly enjoyed the season Captaining the 5th team and also getting a 6th team out on occasions.
The availability of both senior and colts players was excellent and this meant that most weeks we were just about able to get 11 players for the 5th team.
The season saw a number of new colt players introduced to senior cricket this year and they all performed extremely well, which was brilliant and is
good news for the club. With the assistance of the 'more mature' players, who were always happy to provide advice, the colts put in some excellent
displays, taking many wickets and scoring a number of runs with the bat. This correctly meant that a number of these colts were promoted to
the 4th team, where they again played well and some of them secured their places in this side. Some of these players included the Under 13 squad.

as match reports. Hopefully 2011 will see strong availability again.
