OCC Social OCC Pre Season Thames Cruise - Saturday 17th April 2010
The new OCC Social Committee has decided to bring its members one of the biggest and most exciting pre season events in recent seasons! We invite you, friends and family to join us on a River Boat Party along the River Thames on Saturday 17 April to kick start the 2010 Cricket Season! During the 4 hour cruise we will head upriver to have a look at the Houses of Parliament and the Millennium Eye, before turning and heading downriver, passing the Oxo Tower, Tate Modern, under the 'wobbly' bridge, past the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the Cutty Sark, Old Royal Naval College and on to the Thames Barrier before turning round and returning back along the river. Apart from the amazing sights of London, there will be entertainment on board in the form of a Live DJ, a fun casino consisting of Blackjack and Roulette, an auction and a buffet for your enjoyment.

We will meet as a group at the Anchor Pub, London Bridge – from 6pm onwards. This will not only get us in the mood for the cruise, but more importantly this will ensure that we all board the vessel together at 7pm at Bankside Pier, which is only a short walk from the pub. Under no circumstances will the boat’s departure be delayed for any late arrivals, so this earlier meet will act as the buffer you need should anything unexpected happen during your journey into London.

There has already been a lot of early interest in this event so we advise you to book early to save potential disappointment. Please also note that an early purchase discount is available for club members and up to 3 guests.
