U16's league title success

The OCC U16's have won the North Kent Junior League Division 2.

A victory over Dartfordians on Friday 15 July meant that the title has been secured even though there is still one round of matches to go. The team went unbeaten throughout the season, winning 6 of 9 fixtures with the other 3 being abandonned. Leading run scorer was Toby Watkins with 312 runs at an average of 44.5, whilst Ben Clarkson was the leading bowler taking 12 wickets at a cost of 4.1 each.

The entire squad of 17 deserve a great deal of credit for the way in which they applied themselves this year. Collectively the level of performance was consistently high, which is one of the main reasons behind the impressive playing record.
