Orpington CC is pleased to announce that Brendan Lyon has agreed to come and play for us as our 2008 overseas player.

Orpington CC is delighted to announce that we have secured the services of Brendan Lyon as our overseas player for the 2008 season. Brendan is a 23 year old top order bat and leg spin bowler who currently plays 1st grade in Canberra, having previously represented the ACT state under 19 side.

In addition to Brendan's on field attributes, we are confident that we have found a player who will be the right match for us off the field. In addition, Brendan is a qualified PE teacher who we therefore expect to add some much needed intellect to the OCC changing room!

Although we know we don't need to, we the OCC nevertheless ask that you all make an extra special effort to make Brendan feel extremely welcome during his time at the club.
