The OCC Fantasy Cricket is BACK!! We have received a bumper 66 entries this season, which means a good range of prizes are on offer, and money has been raised by the club as well. The scores will be uploaded onto this page every week once the Play-Cricket stats have been completely updated. ORIGINAL TEAM FILES DOWNLOAD PLAYER LIST HERE - This spreadsheet contains 3 worksheets, "Rules" which indicates the scoring system also explained below. "Player list" which displays the player values and also their weekly scores from last season. "Scores by category" which displays player points based on individual point scoring categories. DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORM HERE - Dropdowns are available in each section allowing you to select your XI. Please refer to the player list for complete values. Please note that the league season begins on Saturday May 2nd (3rd XI & 4th XI start before the 1st & 2nd XI, so all entries should be sent to me by midnight on Friday 1st May if your selected players are going to score you points from week 1. Late entries will only start scoring points from the date that they are received.
Rules and Regulations on Team SelectionThe point scoring system and team selection criteria are listed below, Team Selection As you'll see on the attached player lists every player has an allotted rating. This was based on a variety of criteria and was calculated based on the scores from 2008 (barring injuries and availablity). You should select 11 players from the Player List as follows: 4 Batsmen / 4 Bowlers / 2 All Rounders / 1 Wicket Keeper You have up to 60 points to select your side. Points Scoring Points will only be rewarded for performances in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th XI League Cricket. 10 points for playing 1 point each run scored 15 points for every wicket taken 15 points for every catch 25 points for a stumping 10 points for a half century 25 points for a century 25 Points for a 5 wicket haul 15 points for three or more catches 25 points for three or more stumpings Minus 10 points for a duck Player part of a winning side 5 points Player part of a losing side minus 5 points 2 points for a maiden 5 points for each "6" hit Transfers During the course of the season you'll be able to make one transfer. However it is a transfer with a twist, as we will allow you to change your complete team, providing your new team still conforms to the team selection rules and points restriction. You can use this "transfer" at any point of the season that you choose to do so. You must inform me of this no later than lunch time (1.00pm) on a Friday for your new selection to become live for that Saturday's game. • Back to top |
