Orpington CC is pleased to announce that Dylan Robertson has agreed to come and play for us as our 2009 overseas player.

Orpington CC is delighted to announce that Dylan Robertson has agreed to be our overseas player for the 2009 season. Dylan is a 18 year old middle order batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler.

Dylan is currently playing grade cricket for Northern Districts Cricket Club in Sydney, Australia, and has previously played various age group representative cricket. He is also a qualified cricket coach and will be actively involved in coaching our junior section during the season.

Having talked to Dylan at length over the Winter, we are confident that we have found a competent cricketer on the field, who will also be a good match for us off it. Dylan has a number of interests apart from cricket, which he lists as including "Soccer", Tennis, Sport in general, good nights out and long walks on the beach. We will do our best to indulge Dylan in these interests although clearly the final point may be a problem!

Dylan will arrive in England in time to play in our opening friendly away at Hartley on 25 April.
